My favorite Saturdays are spent at S0C0 (South Coast Collection). When I was on maternity leave I used to frequent a baby shop there called Granola Babies. Now before you gawk at the name, let me explain that they carry the best selection of natural baby products: think natural, not plastic, analog, not digital, organic, not toxic, esty/anthropologie, not GAP. But mostly, I went there weekly for their free breastfeeding support groups. It was just an added bonus that it was next door to the OC Mart Mix, a collection of home, baby, vintage and boutique vendors in an open air space. Kind of like Fred Segal + swap meet in a modern, serene space. And if you go on Saturdays, there is also the SoCo farmer’s market with a selection of gourmet food trucks, like Home Skillet.

It’s the one place I can combine baby + shopping + good coffee + farmers market shopping + food trucking + cheese tasting and now organic ice cream in one stop.
